Introducing | Anni Check

Say hello to our much anticipated, and already beloved Anni Check. Launched earlier this year and ready to order now, we thought it deserved a proper introduction...

Paying homage to the inimitable textile artist Anni Albers and sitting pretty next to it’s sister fabric the Anni Stripe, we drew inspiration from the Bauhaus movement to put a modern spin on this traditional motif. We sought to find beauty in simplicity, indulging in the pleasing functionality of overlapping and interlocking stripes of colour that are perfect just the way they are. 

There is something so humbling and reassuring about a check pattern - beautifully nostalgic, and incredibly versatile too, they layer so easily into lots of different decorating schemes. And judging by our Instagram feeds, it’s fair to say that checks are making a very welcome, contemporary comeback.

Designed to hold both centre stage and a more supporting role too, the Anni Check instantly draws your eye, while also being simple enough to complement other more demanding patterns beautifully. 

We had a lot of fun in the studio experimenting with different colourways, and in truth, found it difficult to pick our favourites! Landing eventually on our largest range of colours to date, the Anni Check is available in 14 joyful palettes, and we really hope there is something for everyone.
