Introducing | New Embroideries
This month, we’re thrilled to announce the brand new Etta embroidered wool.
Inspired by Fauvism style - which sees artists apply paint quickly and directly from the paint tube onto the canvas for an explosion of unapologetic colour - Imogen used this technique to begin experimenting with loose and gestural florals. While this was by far the most simple outcome of the creative process, we knew it’s modesty would translate elegantly into embroidery.
Introducing wool into the embroidery collection for the very first time, Etta is perfect for upholstery. Hardwearing, yet wonderfully soft too, our plain melton wool is 100% recycled and woven on the beautiful isle of Bute in Scotland. Its slightly fuzzy surface texture contrasts perfectly with the smooth satin stitching, ensuring the embroidered detail in each of the eight colourways really pops.
We have also added new colourway options for Halle and Heather embroideries.
