Introducing Our New Sheers Collection

A Blend of Heritage, Craft, and Contemporary Design

Imogen Heath has always had a way with fabrics—creating bold patterns and vibrant colours that instantly lift a space. Now, with the launch of her new sheer fabrics collection, she’s bringing a fresh take on traditional textiles, just in time for Decorex 2024. These are not your typical window treatments. Crafted in collaboration with one of the last surviving lace mills in Scotland, the collection pairs the elegance of lace-making tradition with Heath’s contemporary design sensibility.

As the latest extension of her ever-growing range of luxury textiles, this collection is designed to transform how we think about sheer fabrics. The subtle, earthy tones, playful geometrics, and delicate floral patterns create an air of timeless elegance. Whether layered with heavier curtains or used as a stand-alone feature, these sheers are sure to inspire interior designers and homeowners alike.

And for those attending Decorex this year, we invite you to see these fabrics up close at Stand B50 in the Grand Hall. Prepare to be inspired by the craftsmanship, heritage, and beauty that this collection embodies. There’s something incredibly special about seeing traditional techniques reimagined for the modern home—and we can’t wait to share it with you.

A Family Legacy Woven Into Every Thread

Imogen Heath’s new sheer collection is more than just fabric—it’s a deeply personal story. The designs are directly inspired by her family’s creative heritage, reflected in a series of photographs taken from the 1940s through to the 1960s. These images capture moments of creativity within her family, featuring painters, interior designers, and artists at work or enjoying life. Whether painting at home or creating beautiful interiors, these snapshots of her family’s artistry have become a rich source of inspiration for Imogen.

As she explains, “It feels like such a privilege to have a window into another time. Bringing those memories to life through fabric has been important to me.” This deep connection to her family’s creative legacy informs Imogen’s approach today, as an artist whose work is rooted in the exploration of colour, pattern, and craftsmanship. The patterns, whether floral or geometric, echo the mid-century elegance of the era, but with a contemporary twist that makes them perfect for modern interiors.

Crafted with Care and Tradition

This collection is also a celebration of craftsmanship. To bring her vision to life, Imogen partnered with one of the last lace mills in Scotland, a company that has been perfecting its art for over a century. It’s a collaboration that goes beyond aesthetics—both Imogen and the mill share a deep respect for traditional craft, and together they’ve created something truly special.

The sheer fabrics in this collection are woven using 100% cotton, giving them a soft, natural feel that drapes beautifully. What truly sets these fabrics apart is the meticulous process behind them. The expertise in lace-making, passed down through generations, ensures that each sheer panel is crafted with unparalleled precision. It’s a rare skill in today’s world and a key element that makes this collection so luxurious.

But this is not simply about preserving the past. The ability to innovate within these traditional methods allows for a modern expression of lace that feels both timeless and contemporary. The result? Sheer fabrics that are delicate, elegant, and versatile, perfect for today’s discerning interior designers and homeowners.

Bringing Sheers Into the Modern Home

Sheer fabrics have a reputation for being light and airy, but they can also be incredibly versatile, transforming any space. In this collection, the sheer panels are designed to do just that. Whether you want to create a soft, diffused light in a living room, add a delicate layer of texture to a bedroom, or use them as a playful element in an otherwise modern, minimalistic space, these fabrics are perfect for all applications.

Imogen Heath’s sheers can be used in a variety of ways, making them perfect for both residential and commercial spaces. Picture them as standalone pieces in large windows, where they gently filter natural light without overwhelming the room. Or imagine them layered with heavier drapes for a more dynamic, textural look. The fabrics’ earthy tones and subtle patterns are designed to blend seamlessly into any interior style, from contemporary urban apartments to more traditional country homes.

In addition to being visually stunning, the sheers are practical, too. Made from durable yet lightweight cotton, they are easy to care for and made to last—bringing a touch of luxury to everyday living.
